Description:

Real Time Monitoring Admin is responsible for installing and maintaining Real Time Monitoring platform for optimal performance via highly-available, scalable, maintainable systems and services.

He/She shall be able to work in a self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development with limited supervision.

 

Qualification & Experience:

Engineering or IT graduate with 5+ years of experience in real time monitoring platform.

Expert level:

  • Strong experience in SPLUNK platform deployments on AWS and on premise hosting (any certification appreciated)
  • Hands on experience at least one monitoring platform (SPLUNK)
  • Strong experience in operations (incident management, crisis management, communication, continuous improvements)

Intermediate level:

Activities:

  • The job holder is responsible for delivering simulation models and tools on Time, Cost and Quality.

The various activities to be performed are:

Simulation and Modelling

  • Develop and prototype new FMS functions to support the system design teams.
  • Ensure support for integration of the model/prototype on different simulation platforms to facilitate pilot-in-the-loop evaluations.

Software Methods and Quality Engineer

Context

The « Avionics and Simulation products » entity owns the conception, development, production and support of some of the critical calculators embedded on the Airbus aircrafts. Its mission is also to be the Airbus reference and the primary expertise source as far as equipment development and concerned issues. 

The development teams are structured by technical domains, and this position is included in the Quality Function interacting with the Avionics Software & System Testing department at Airbus Group India Operations Private Ltd. 

Main responsibilities

The jobholder is responsible for:

  • Providing support  to the technical  teams for process, methods and tools.
  • Performing the quality assurance and the quality controls in compliance with the DO-178B/ED-12 objectives. 

Main activities

  • The Software Methods and Quality Engineer responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring the efficiency and adequacy of the development methods in particular to comply with certification objectives
  • Providing support to the development teams for methods and tools use
  • Proposing improvements
  • Verifying the consistency, the completeness and accuracy of the quality documents of the software

System Testing Engineer

Role Purpose:

The tester’s principal aim is to confirm and support the safe, reliable and effective operation of Airbus product related features and functions across sub-system, system and aircraft levels, primarily using ground based test rigs and the analysis of flight test and in-service data. 

The jobholder will contribute to the Avionics system Integration testing by preparing & performing system tests and analyse the test results on all Airbus programs using Remote and/or Virtual Test Means. 

Main Responsibilities  

Carry Out:

  • Define System testing methods, strategy and planning, execute tests, record results, perform analysis, record and classify defects. Writing summaries of test outcomes, Test Result Analysis, certification cards
  • Use of appropriate means to perform real time analysis and support to flight test, the analysis and defect identification from flight test analysis  - reporting on system behaviour from Flight Test Report execution, produce Flight Test Report Analysis
  • The investigation and analysis of in-service events, using ground rigs to reproduce events and support RCA. Create and implement development test for In-Service problems
  • The specification and validation of instrumentation on the test means for a given campaign  

Contribute To:

  • The formulation and planning of test programme through participation in the necessary reviews and milestones of the testing process
  • The upstream V&V/Test Strategy required for a propose design (can be from review/advisory) to involvement and direct responsibility.  Use knowledge of both system under test and test means capability.  Challenge test requests as and when appropriate. Involvement in supplier testing.
  • The ongoing development, renewal and strategy for test means through use of the test means defect reporting methodology
  • The development of related processes and procedures through feedback and lessons learned

Methods and Tools (M&T) is Transverse team developing tools for Flight Physics design, Airframe Analysis, System Simulation, Flight Operational Analysis, System Testing, Helicopters and Customer Support. Digital Solutions Skywise Engineer

Skywise will be the platform of reference used by all major aviation players to improve their operational performance and business results and to support their own digital transformation.

Repair Static Stress Engineer

Job Description:

The job holder is responsible for the justification of repair solutions from a static stress point of view, on Time, to Cost and to Quality.  The job holder will work in close collaboration with design and fatigue colleagues to provide suitable repair solutions.  The end customers are Airlines/MROs. 

The various activities to perform are:

  • Create high quality integrated and certified engineering repair solutions for the airlines and internal customers within the given time scale.
  • Carry out Static calculations to assess design solutions using standard hand and computer methods. Further create, compile and co-ordinate engineering documentation to achieve valid technical data for repairs.
  • Liaise with Design, Fatigue and other appropriate Airbus departments to come up with optimum design solutions for the airline customer.

Role Purpose:
