Description of the job
The aim of this internship is to create an estimate reliability of a new structural modelling approach based on results provided by :
- Current global approach (global finite element model)
- Current local approach (virtual testing / refined finite element model)
and test results from certification campaign (A350 static cell test).
Internships at Airbus
Tasks & accountabilities
Be familiar with the existing models ( global and refined) by analyzing the numerical results
Correlation analysis from test results to identify strength and weakness of the 2 approaches
Create a derivative model from refined model allowing to assess the interest of a new approach limited to linear domain and including simplified structural parts modelling vs. refined model. A nonlinear exploration would be a plus
- Material strength
- Numerical modeling
- Programming (Visual Basic)
- Hyperworks using as a plus
- ABAQUS using as a plus
- Autonomy, curiosity and innovation
- Airbus (Corporate Functions), Airbus (Commercial Aircraft), Airbus Defence and Space
