Description of the job

A vacancy for a Launch Systems Interface Architect (M/F) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. You will join TESEA department, which is in charge of the launch system interface and Flight dynamics development.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include

  • Technical expertise support to projects and Launch Systems Providers (LSP),
  • Maintenance of launch systems database (Applicable LSP documentation as User's Manuals, safety regulation, launch site facilities, Spacecraft models specification, launch vehicle performance and availability, etc…),
  • Maintenance of the synthesis of Launch Systems landscape as far as Telecommunication satellites are concerned,
  • Management of the Products and Projects Action Items List (AIL) with the LSP,
  • Preparation of the launch campaign operations in coordination with Assembly Integration & Tests (AIT) representatives.

This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to engineering degree level (or equivalent) in aerospace or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experiences
  • Good Team spirit
  • Good communications skills
  • An advanced level in English is required
