Tasks & accountabilities

During this 12 months internship you will be:
1.- Providing HR generalist support to the Engineering Departments under the supervision of the HR Business Partner of those departments. This HR generalist support includes being involved in most of HR activities during the year:

  • Annual interviews on objective setting and performance evaluation
  • Compensation and Benefits process
  • Career management and people development
  • Recruitment interviews
  • Engagement survey

2.- Supporting the HR Business Partner in different subjects such as:

  • Time management
  • Management and follow up of training needs
  • Ensuring the right and efficient coordination between the HRBP and the Centres of Expertise

3.- Participating in different staff meetings and cascading different HR matters
4.- Providing support to managers regarding daily issues and question autonomously investigating for answers
Description of the position:
Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs, sometimes called HR Generalists) are on the front line of servicing and interacting with our employees. We perform both hands-on strategic roles in providing human resources expertise in employee relations, coaching, professional development, compensation,conflict management, training and more.
Our team support specific organizations and functions in Spain and we embed ourselves within the business to work closely with the management and employee on people-related issues.
HRBPs are also instrumental in initiating and driving HR initiatives within those organizations.

Required skills

Skills and competences:
You are in the last year of your business school, master or university and specialized in Human Resources.
You have knowledge in:

  • Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Labour law and HR practices.

You have the following qualities:

  • Motivated.
  • Energetic.
  • Interested in the full scope of Human Resources.
  • Open minded to multicultural and multinational environment.
  • Communicative.
  • Innovative.
  • Team worker
  • Flexible and adaptable,
  • Autonomous.
  • Analytical mid

You have strong written and verbal communication skills:

  • Spanish: Advanced level written and spoken (mandatory)
  • English: Advanced level written and spoken (mandatory)
  • French or German: Will be a plus.

A first experience in Human Resources would be preferred
