Airbus is looking for several Big Data Software Engineers (m/f) to join the “Digital Accelerator” team in Toulouse, France.

With the Digital Transformation of Airbus, the software landscape of the company is being completely redesigned with an aim to focus on delivering value for the business. Tasks & accountabilities

Your specific responsibilities are:
‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
ø Designing and developing high-quality product features in the Cloud using Agile / DevOps methodologies and practices. Solutions are highly scalable, highly available, using a variety of Big Data and software development technologies and tools,
ø Working as part of a multi-functional agile team including business experts, data analysts, architects,
ø Being involved in all parts of the product lifecycle: idea generation, design, prototyping, planning, development, test, deployment and operations,
ø Monitoring performance of solution components and data transformation pipelines across the DataLake,
ø Advising on necessary software and infrastructure changes and evolution.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

Your Boarding Pass
‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
ø A bachelor or master degree, ideally in Computer Science & Engineering (or equivalent),
ø Experience in building and deploying cloud solutions (AWS preferred),
ø Expertise in all or several of the following:

  • Big Data platforms and tools (e.g. Hadoop, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Postgres…),
  • Modern software development (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript...),
  • Streaming analytics and real-time processing.
  • Data ingestion systems.
  • Web development technologies and frameworks (e.g. React, Angular…)
  • Agile & DevOps methodologies and practices

ø Autonomy with excellent communication skills,
ø Sense of detail and passion for software and technologies that solve problems,
ø Curiosity & team player attitude, with a wish to evolve with your team,
ø Advanced level of English (French would be a plus).

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
