Description of the job
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Tasks & accountabilities
For Airbus Commercial in Hamburg within the department Programme / Project Management for Airbus Neo+ we are looking for a VIE - New Development Planning Support. We integrate the production plans from four Final Assembly locations (two of which are planned in our team) into a single plan which is distributed to the various plants and suppliers. Additionally we are responsible for the Sales production matching process, aligning customer contracts with industrial slots based on contractual month, aircraft type and customer preference. We also work closely with new product development to secure the entry into service, and integration into serial process, of any new customer options or aircraft improvements.
Start: April/May 2018
Duration: 12 months
In this context, your main activities will include:
- Act as link between Integrated Programme Planning and New Development projects
- Coordinate industrial planning requirements for the integration of the NEO+ project into the series programme
- Compares the industrial feasibility with the commercial requests and provides guidance and recommendations for industrial ramp-up and rate capabilities; including requirements for flight test and refurbishment of flight test aircraft for customers
- Exchange and communicate with all transnational and national plants, as well with main suppliers
- Aligne with Marketing and Sales teams
- University degree in Project Management, Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or similar
- Profound MS Office handling required, experience with big data solutions is appreciated
- English: negotiation level
- German and/or another language: appreciated
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, you are agile and you offer autonomous working attitude with high coordination/organisational skills.
