Description of the job

A vacancy for Electrical manufacturing engineering has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Tablada (Seville).
The successful applicant will join MANUFACTURING / Manufacturing Engineering.

The successful applicant should be able to work on shifts, if required.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Create and develop competitive and mature technologies in support of new needs.
• Assess and adapt new technologies to cover the needs and requirements of the business lines.
• New technology survey.
• Product configuration awareness.
• Future business requirements.
• Manufacturing feedback (KAIZEN, Practical Problem Solving).
• New manufacturing process based on new technology solution.
• Concurrence and development of New versions of C295 and MRTT. Configuration control.
• Deployment of Digital Solutions into the Electrical Workshop.
• Deployment of Automation and Robotics Solutions into the Electrical Workshop.

This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in digitalization projects and electric units.
  • English and Spanish must be negotiation level.
  • Highly interested in technology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and pro-active approach to problem solving.
