Airbus is one of the most international employers, and the founding four countries continue to have a big impact on the culture and diversity represented everywhere. The headquarters of Airbus Defence & Space in Ottobrunn (Munich), where I work, is a very diverse site, not only in terms of different nationalities but also the versatile backgrounds and experiences among the employees.

A challenging job requires a good work-life balance
Being in a challenging job requires a good work-life balance. Luckily, I have always felt supported by my organization to flexibly organize my work and private life. The flexi-time is great and helps to integrate even private commitments. I appreciate and enjoy having the autonomy, which allows me to give my job priority and get things done on quality and on time.
Professional development via training programmes
I’ve risen from a junior HR business partner (HRBP) to become an HRBP Key Account, which was a very interesting path. This development was not only supported by my line manager and colleagues but also accompanied by various training and development programmes to increase my visibility and grow my network in the company.
It’s my job to help other employees in their development, and I know firsthand that there are plenty of opportunities offered by the company (e.g., mobility, development programmes, networks) from which every ambitious employee can benefit.
