What we do
Bangalore Engineering Centre focuses on the development of advanced capabilities in the areas of modelling and simulation, covering such components as flight management systems, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and digital simulation and visualisation – which are critical factors in the design and production of high-performance aircraft such as the Airbus A380 and the A350 XWB.
An Airbus Training Centre is currently under construction near the new Bengaluru International Airport, and the facility’s initial two simulators have been operational since 2008 for recurrent training. It will offer maintenance courses in fully equipped, state-of-the-art classroom facilities.
Airbus Defence and Space’s Bangalore site is responsible for engineering and supply chain adaptations for electronics product upgrades for local and new markets. The team also provide value added engineering services in software engineering, mechanical engineering and systems simulation to other European engineering sites.
